Already at the formation of the german company in Korb (South Germany) in 1957 the customer’s benefit took center stage of all corporate decisions. With his first order the founder of the company, Albert Schmid, was able to present a solution through easy burnishing and deburring operations to his then-employer.

Today Aluminum Technology Schmid produces aluminum parts on the latest CNC-machining centers according to highest quality standards with a workforce of ca. 200 employees in Germany.

In 2006 the affiliate Aluminum Technology Schmid North America Inc. startet in Auburn/AL.

As a systems supplier the outright service starting from the development to the acquisition of raw material to the completed assembly group is done by us.
